The AtlantaCon 2026 scale model show, held
on March 21, 2026, saw a record-breaking 437–468

in Sci-Fi: Scott Washington took first place in the
Science Fiction category.
- Armor
"Big Scale" Entry: A large-scale German LUCH tank was
noted by the IPMS
Spartanburg Scale Modelers for its commanding presence on the
table.

- "Logan"
(Wolverine): A 1/48-scale 3D-printed figure from Trident
Studios was highlighted for its impressive denim and leather painting
techniques.
- Weathered
Armor: High-detail Tiger tanks and crisp P-51
Mustangs in 1/35 and 1/48 scales were among the favorites for
their historical accuracy.
- Aircraft
Work-in-Progress: A 1/72nd scale SP-2H Neptune Firebomber (Tanker
48) gained attention for its extensive scratch-built fire-retardant tanks
and modified tail boom.
